Multi-Generational Olive Eggers
Hatching Eggs: $90 per dozen / $120 per dozen shipped
In an effort to provide you (and us) with the most colorful egg baskets possible, we are offering a few different types of olive Eggers. We breed olives in multiple pens and breeding arrangements that will produce a mixture of First - Fourth generation Olives including as well as Second Generation back crossed Olives. All eggs will be labeled with the generation that will hatch from each egg.
Some of the things were focusing in our olive pens at this time are phenotype and homozygous blue carriers.
We are currently working to produce out second generation of Wheaten Olive Eggers. These eggs will also be included within multi-generational olive dozens. These lovely F1 birds are producing medium-large sized light green, usually heavy bloomed eggs. These F2 Offspring produced will offer the potential for birds who are both Homozygous or heterozygous for blue egg genes, and also birds who received no blue egg genes from either parent - these offspring would lay brown eggs as opposed to green. These eggs will be labeled F2 Wh.
Two of our olive pens are set up with later generation olive egger Roosters who have been tested and found to be Homozygous for Blue egg genes. This ensures that their offspring will receive at least one copy of a blue egg gene and will be guaranteed to lay some shade of green. These eggs will be labeled F4 as they will be producing fourth generation olive eggers.
***Please not that egg colors and shades will vary depending on many factors. We are unable to provide dozens consisting solely of our Darkest, Most Speckled, or heaviest bloomed eggs, but we will do out best to create as diverse olive dozens as the hens laying patterns allow.

Blue Laced Red Wyandottes
Hatching Eggs: $100 per dozen / $130 per dozen shipped
Cultivating this flock of Blue Laced Red Wyandottes has been an exhaustive learning process. These pictures really don’t do justice to how beautiful these babies are in person. Not to mention, they are a sweet, docile, daily laying breed. Due to the nature of blue/black/splash genetics, from this pen you can expect to receive 50% Blue, 25% Black and 25% Splash offspring. Wyandottes are layers of regular sized cream eggs. Although, around here our Wyandottes often offer us eggs that appear to be pink!

Isabel / Wheaten Ameraucanas
Hatching Eggs $100 per dozen / $130 per dozen shipped.
Isabel Ameraucanas are a lovely variety who were created here in Florida by Luanne D'Amico at Eight Acres Farm. They were meticulously created from crossing Wheaten and Self-Blue (Lavender) lines of Ameraucanas. As a dilution gene Lavender not only dilutes black, it also dilutes red and gold - which is how we get this illustrious, porcelain color in our Isabel Offspring.
Isabel Amerucanas will breed true and produce Isabel offspring 100% of the time. But - we similarly to how we breed Lavender back to black every few generations in an effort to improve feather quality, we should also be mindful to breed Isabel birds back to wheaten. It is for this reason that you see a wheaten ameraucana pictured here. These pairings will produces Split offspring who will be carrying recessive Lavender Genetics.
We'll be running two "Isabel" breeding pens in for the 2026 season. The first will be a "split pen" using a Wheaten/Isabel Rooster over Isabel Hens. Offspring from this pen will produce a combination of Isabel and Isabel/Wheaten Split offspring. Second we will have a pure bred Isabel Pen. Eggs will be labeled as such.
Special attention should be paid when hatching split Isabel/Wheaten eggs alongside Pure Bred Wheaten eggs. Those birds who are split to isabel will present as Wheaten birds, but they'll be carrying recessive Isabel Genetics. This is a non issue for pets or egg layers, but it can become complicated down the lines when breeding.
***Our Isabel and Isabel/Wheaten Roosters have been proven to be Homozygous Blue Egg Gene carriers through DNA testing.

Silver Welsummers
Hatching Eggs $100 / $130 Per Dozen Shipped
This stunning variety of Welsummer was created using Barred Rocks to introduce a Silver Base into Welsummer lines. Like Isabel Ameraucanas credit for the developement of this variety belongs to Luanne D’Amico over at Eight Acres Farm.
In addition to their captivating colors, these ladies are regular layers of large, medium colored brown, speckled eggs!
My initial desire with Silver Welsummers was to use them alongside my Silver Ameraucanas in a Silver Olive Program. But after loosing several of these ladies as a result of Hurricane Helene I’ve decided to put that project on hold until 2026 (ish) and focus on building my Welsummer flock in the spring.

Hank's Silkies aka "Hankies" Silkies/Satins/Frizzles
Hatching Eggs: $55 per dozen/$85 per dozen shipped
Our Silkie pen is "fun pen" filled with mixed colors of silkie, satin, frizzled and showgirl hens along side silkie and showgirl roosters. Eggs from this group will offer a really great chance for showgirls in every hatch. We love the variety of feathering and coloring that their offspring produce! We've heard silkies referred to as the "kittens" of the chicken world and that is a perfect analogy. Our silkies are also great broody mommas.
